On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen paid a visit to the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, reaffirming Türkiye’s continued solidarity and humanitarian commitment to displaced Rohingya communities.
During his visit, Ambassador Ramis Sen took part in a number of humanitarian assistance activities aimed at supporting Rohingya refugees during the holy occasion. He visited relief and aid programs operated by Turkish humanitarian organizations, including the Turkish Red Crescent, the Turkish Religious Foundation, and other Turkish civil society organizations working in the camps.
The ambassador exchanged Eid greetings with Rohingya refugees, spending time with families and community members while listening to their concerns, living conditions, and urgent needs. His visit highlighted the importance of sustained international engagement and humanitarian support for one of the world’s most vulnerable displaced populations.
Türkiye has remained an active humanitarian partner in supporting Rohingya refugees, and Ambassador Ramis Sen’s Eid visit reflects the spirit of compassion, solidarity, and shared humanity during a time of faith and reflection.
